New Ref Course

Become a ref! Sign up today:

Go to FSR.LeagueGM.com, and follow these important steps (please read) --

  • Click on link “All Scheduled Courses” on left side
  • Then in middle under “Type of Course”, select “Referee”
  • Hit filter
  • Scroll to Hobe Sound class and click on details about the course
  • Click “Courses I Can Register For” on left hand side
  • Most students will not have leaguegm log in information
  • They need to follow the prompts on the right hand side for “New to FSR"

Please carefully consider your desire to be a ref. It is a great way to earn extra money, but being a soccer referee is a lot of responsibility.  Refs need to be willing to accept these responsibilities and expectations when they register for the course. The course itself is hard work, and all fees are nonrefundable.

  • To pay for the course, $130, you must use PayPal.   No other payment method is accepted.
  • Online prework with verifying certificates, by Law, showing it was done must be completed prior to the Friday, Oct 14 session.
  • You must attend all three consecutive days, Fri-Sat-Sun, Oct. 14, 15, and 16.  You cannot miss or 'mix and match' with other classes.
  • There will be an online, open book, test that must be taken between 4pm to midnight on Sat, Oct 15. You have 60 minutes to answer 50 questions.
  • If any of these are not done, you will forfeit your fee, and it is non refundable.
  • Finally you must get 80% on the test. If you don't get 80%, after 30 days, you will be able to take it again.     If you still do not pass it, you will have to retake the course and pay another fee.
Active Hobe Sound members will be reimbursed after successfully completing the course. Questions? Contact Frank Ferreri at fferreri9@gmail.com
Referees may attend any course depending on what their schedule permits, regardless of what club they are affliated with.
